Hello, I'm Michael Taff, a seasoned Senior Engineer at Lumen Technologies with over 30 years of experience in solving complex problems and creating innovative solutions in technology and business. My journey began aboard the USS Enterprise, where I honed my skills in managing world-class nuclear reactors. This unique experience laid the foundation for my evolving career, allowing me to develop a diverse set of transferable knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Throughout my career, I've tackled some of the toughest technical challenges, managed top-performing retail sales teams, and reverse-engineered production equipment to develop comprehensive training programs. My roles have ranged from Operations Engineer to Senior Engineer, where I've supported the Broadband Operational Network Augmentation team, acted as a technical project leader, and provided knowledge transfer and training to my team.

In addition to my technical expertise, I've also excelled in leadership roles, managing teams and projects with a focus on generating results. My experience at Best Buy, where I served as a Computer & Tablet Supervisor and Geek Squad Services Manager, allowed me to develop strong managerial skills and a deep understanding of customer service and sales strategies.

I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Project Management from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Central Florida. I am also a certified Dare to Lead™ Trained professional.
